Mighty Mountain 5K Trail Run

Mighty Mountain 5K is a trail run/walk fundraiser for camper scholarships at Caraway Conference Center and Camps located in Sophia, NC about 8 miles west of Asheboro. The trail run/walk is on the property of Camp Caraway. Our well maintained trail is a combination of rolling hills, gravel, and asphalt through a beautiful hard wood forest near creeks and lakes. Professional chip timing Trophies awarded to top finishers Medals awarded to top age group finishers Free race t-shirt Free snack at end of race Located in the Uwharrie Mountains, Caraway and Mundo Vista serve guests year round for overnight retreats, conferences, day meetings, and summer camp programs. This fundraiser will help campers attend camp that cannot afford to come on their own. The scholarships may be used to attend FAM camp, father-son retreats, mother-daughter retreats, Warrior Camp for Boys, Horizons Camp for Girls, Caraway Mountain Day Camps, Children's Church camp, Winter Camp, and Grand Camp.
