Entertainment at Brightside Gallery by Musician Jack Gorham, May 19, 5:45 to 7:15 p.m.
Brightside Gallery, 170 Worth Street, Asheboro, NC, hosts its second "Front Porch Evening" of the season on May 19, 2017 from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. with music on the front porch provided by Jack Gorham! This delightful event is FREE and open to the public. Jack Gorham is a “Junkman – Songwriter” – it says so on his business card. He is known around Asheboro for managing Collector’s Antique Mall since the day it opened in 1993. When he’s not at the shop he can be found playing keys in bands such as “The El Dorados, Stained Glass Canoe, The Gooseberry Jam, Shaken and Stirred, or goofing off at the Randolph Arts Guild. Gorham’s songs shed light on ideas about time, place, love and the human condition; loaded with imagery and metaphor, delivered by engaging melodies and thoughtful piano accompaniment. Come out and enjoy a fantastic evening with this very talented local musician on our front porch at the coolest corner in town!!!!
