Double-Header Musical Extravaganza with The Goodtimers and Ralph Davis & Co. at Brightside Gallery

Brightside Gallery, 170 Worth Street, Asheboro, NC, hosts its final "Front Porch Evening" of the season on September 15, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a double-header musical blow out on the front porch provided by The Goodtimers for the first half of the evening and Ralph Davis & Co. for the second half of the evening! This talent-filled event is FREE and open to the public. For well over a decade, The Goodtimers of Asheboro have been crisscrossing the Piedmont, bringing their own brand of musical entertainment to the people. Playing R and B, country, rock, folk, gospel, Celtic, cowboy, girl-group pop and all the crossover possibilities there-in, with the goal of giving each song everything they’ve got and having maximum fun doing it. The band consists of Renette Cranford, mandolin and vocals; Brenda Daniel, vocals; Buddy George, guitar and vocals; Richard Johnson, guitar and vocals, and last but not least, Jim McCleary, vocals and comic mayhem. RD & Co.'s favorite style of music is classic rock but he also enjoy jazz, pop, folk, a little bluegrass and other genres as well. Ralph likes to play music that's mostly upbeat and thought-provoking. He explains that the fun part of this act is taking songs that weren't written for acoustic guitar and making them work for that instrument. Come out and enjoy a fantastic evening with these very talented local musicians on our front porch at the coolest corner in town!!!!
