Emerging Artist Series Presents Whiskey Foxtrot

Whiskey Foxtrot is an Americana band from Winston-Salem, NC founded by Seth Williams and Sam Foster in 2017. Both Seth and Sam had been performing as solo artists for several years around North Carolina, and on various occasions would perform shows together. Afterwards, they decided to team up together to form Whiskey Foxtrot in 2017, they quickly became a regional favorite. They play hundreds of shows per year across North Carolina and Virginia while continuing to grow a following in the Southeastern US, including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Whiskey Foxtrot is comprised of Seth Williams (Vocals/Guitar,) Sam Foster (Vocals/Guitar,) Brad Cardille (Bass/Vocals,) Terry VunCannon (Lap Steel,) and Steven Worley (Drums.) The group can perform as an acoustic duo, trio, or with the full five piece band. ?The group is primarily influenced by Blackberry Smoke, American Aquarium, Waylon Jennings, The Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty, and The Eagles just to name a few. Their music is a combination of country, blues, and rock ‘n roll, which is reflective of these influences. As of Spring/Summer 2018 the band is working a bank of original music in order to record their first studio LP. ?Seth and Sam have both released solo records in 2018. Sam’s sophomore solo album “Hardened Hearts” was released March 2018, and Seth’s second solo album “Burn” was released May 25, 2018.
