Dawn Tagawa Pottery Trunk Show at Brightside Gallery

Brightside Gallery, 170 Worth Street, Asheboro, NC, will host a pottery trunk show featuring phenomenal local potter, Dawn Tagawa, on September 15, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. As Tagawa explains: “Pottery is my journey of self-exploration. I ask myself what I want to accomplish, what are my goals in regards to my art? And my personal goals may differ but they definitely parallel. Quite simply I want the beholder, whether it is me or another, to smile when looking at my work. This holds true from the whimsical sayings that brighten my day to the more intricate luminary carvings.
