ALTZ Runes: An Ancient Art Form
Runes: An Ancient Art Form - Monday, September 19 at 4:00 PM Ancient carvings rest on stones all over Northern Europe. Crabbing symbols etched into rock to tell tales of ancient wanderers, heroes, and villains and to mark the burials of mighty kings. What do they mean? What do they teach us of the old ways and of the old days? They are Runes, generally Elder Futhark, but sometimes other symbols, too. They are the letters of our ancient ancestors. Within their writing lies the secret of a forgotten realm in history. Learn the mysteries of their meanings and how to work your name in Runes. We’ll also teach you how to make your own Bindrune symbols, with a dash of history taught to you by Dave, the Teen Librarian.
