Internal Affairs
Division VP/Chairman Elect – Kelly Heath, Randolph Community College
Membership – Objective: To increase membership in the chamber. (TBD)
Ambassadors Club – Objective: To promote and represent the Chamber throughout the community, educate Chamber members regarding the programs and benefits associated with membership and assist in increasing general membership. (1st Wed. at 8 am)
Membership Development
Division VP – Joel McClosky, Four Saints Brewing Company
Leadership Randolph – Objective: Develop, plan, coordinate and produce a quality leadership development program that assists individuals in their ongoing development and produces future leaders of our community. (Open to Leadership Randolph graduates only.) (1st Fri. AFTER first Thurs. at 8:15 am)
Special Events – Objective: Coordinate and promote Annual fundraising events. One event includes the Annual Golf Tournament in June. (TBD)
Marketing – Objective: Continually improve the Chamber’s website, promote Shop local and market Chamber of Commerce to the community. (TBD)
No Tie Affair -- Objective: Plan and conduct the Chamber’s No Tie Affair Low Country Boil in May. (Time Varies)
Community Development
Division VP – Joel Moreno, Before-M-After Catastrophe Restoration
Business & Education – Objective: Work with both the business and educational community to establish common goals and objectives that will strengthen the relationship, improve the student and enhance the overall quality of life for all Randolph County citizens. Current programs include Teacher Recruitment, Teacher Internships and the Get A LIFE – Learning Is For Earning program. (2nd Thurs. at 8 am)
Student L.I.F.T. – Objective: Conduct a quality youth oriented leadership program that will assist sophomore and junior high school students expand their knowledge of their community and county, as well as develop their leadership skills. (4th Thurs. at 4 pm)
Pigs & Pedals – Objective: Plan and conduct the Pigs & Pedals event on August 1st with the help of the Downtown Development Committee and the City of Asheboro. (TBD)
Governmental Affairs
Division VP – Jessica Coltrane, Fidelity Bank
Government – Objective: Provide representation for business at the local, state and federal level of government. Provide a liaison between local businesses and local, state and federal government. (4th Fri. at 8 am)
Seminars & Workshops – Objective: Coordinate a current year calendar of seminars and workshops, which responds to the needs of the chamber membership. (Last Thurs. at 8 am)
Bikeways & Trails – Objective: Identify and develop bikeways, trails and scenic routes suitable for citizens and visitors to tour and appreciate the scenic beauty and heritage sites of Randolph County. And, assist with the Pigs & Pedals bicycle event.
