Carillon Assisted Living of Asheboro to Host a Victorian Christmas Caroling Concert Benefiting Randolph Vocational Industries
Carolers of Christmas Past will perform to benefit local nonprofit
ASHEBORO, N.C., November 29, 2018 – Carillon Assisted Living of Asheboro will host Carolers of Christmas Past, an authentic Victorian Christmas caroling group, as they perform a free concert at the assisted living community on Saturday, December 8, 2018 during the event from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Monetary donations will be raised during the event to benefit Randolph Vocational Industries
, a local nonprofit.
The Asheboro caroling concert is part of a companywide effort to welcome families and friends to Carillon’s communities for a fun, festive celebration featuring the traditions of Christmas’ past and present. Carolers of Christmas Past will perform their signature style of Dickens-era classics in full Victorian dress costume from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. during the event.
“Our Carillon Christmas Concert is a way to bring people together around the very traditions that unite us at the holiday season, and in effect, all year long,” said Carillon President and CEO, Karen Moriarty. “And it is so important to center those festivities around our seniors, because they are the ones who taught us to honor those Christmas traditions and to pass them on to our children.”
In addition to music and caroling, the event will feature delicious holiday fare and incorporate charitable giving opportunities to help Randolph Vocational Industries, a nonprofit training facility that offers planned vocational rehabilitation programs for disabled adults.
