The Sara Smith Self Gallery Presents: Capturing Beauty: Fine Art and Photography of Dale Akers

Join the Randolph Arts Guild and the Sara Smith Self Gallery as we present Capturing Beauty: Fine Art and Photography of Dale Akers, January 7th-28th. Photographer and painter Dale Akers has been creating beautiful things for many years. His love for the outdoors and the wilderness has helped spawn such realistic and stunning paintings such as “Adolescent Egrets” (pictured below) Dales peaceful, calm and humble persona helps him to pull out a high degree of accomplishment in all he does, allowing the details to leap out at the viewer. Aside from his paintings, Dale has a successful photography and graphic design business which balances out his artistic career while adding more excitement to his artist endeavors. January’s show will Dale’s host original oils, watercolors, fine art photography prints, and signed Giclee's, which will be on display and for sale. The opening reception will be January 7th at 5:30PM at the Sara Smith Self Gallery located at 123 Sunset Ave in Asheboro, NC. Open to the public.
