ANNIE is a musical extravaganza that combines mirth, tuneful songs, and a bit of real history. ANNIE takes place in depression-era America. Annie escapes once from a city orphanage after abusive treatment from the matron, Miss Hannigan. She has the good fortune to be selected to visit the home of Oliver Warbucks, a billionaire.
