Randolph County will hold a free Electronics & Rigid Plastic Recycling Saturday, April 23, from 8 a.m.-noon at The Randolph Mall, 345 Randolph, Asheboro, in the parking area near Dunham’s Sports.
Items that can be recycled: CRT-tube TVs, projection screen TVs, flat panel TVs, antennas, cable boxes, satellite receivers, VCRs, DVD players, BluRay players and other electronics, including phones, computers, radios, fax machines and cameras.
* Old prescription drugs and over the counter medications, original containers — no questions asked.
* Rigid plastics, including coolers, flower pots, lawn furniture, etc.
A shred truck will be on hand to securely destroy all forms of sensitive documents — tax forms, receipts, bank statements, etc.
