Paranormal Research 101

As nightfall comes earlier each evening and autumn winds whisper through the tree limbs, our imaginations turn to spooky scenes and events. We are here to provide you with a safe, spooky, chill-filled evening in a gorgeous, 102-old Victorian home. Your hosts for this evening are Lee Woods and Mary Murkin, who look forward to sharing their combined 78 years of interest in the paranormal with you. (No “mathing” allowed!) Your evening will consist of hearing historical, eerie stories about the home/property; learning about and handling basic ghost research equipment; embarking on a ghost research walk in the dark mansion, and then a debriefing session. Every guest will receive a “Haunted Asheboro” mug to take home as a keepsake. Tickets are $25 each (cash only), and must be purchased in advance at Brightside Gallery, 170 Worth Street, Asheboro, NC 27203, phone: 336-736-8714. Without advance ticket purchase, you do not have a spot. There is limited "seating" for each evening, as these will be groups of 6 participants per event. This event is adult interactive entertainment for ages 15 and over. Wear comfy clothes and shoes for walking through the "lights out" house.
