 The
Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce has been coordinating a program
with representatives of Asheboro City Schools, Randolph County Schools
and Randolph Community College to attract qualified educators to our
county. The program called “Partnership For Success” is going on its
seventh year to be offered to new teachers.
Local
businesses that are members of the Randolph County Chambers of
Commerces provides discounts to newly employed full time teachers with
the Asheboro City Schools, Randolph County Schools and Randolph
Community College. Once the teacher is hired through these school
systems, they should receive a brochure that includes all of the
discounts offered. Some examples of the discounts offered are waiver
of apartment rental fees, complimentary dinner for two, free checking,
and 20% discounts in retail stores.
Working together with business and education, we can help in recruiting qualified educators to teach our students. If you are interested in participating in this program, download the Participation Form and submit to the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce. |
