Internal Affairs - Division VP/Chairman Elect - James Gouty, BB&T
Membership – TBA - Objective: To increase membership in the chamber.
Ambassadors Club – Candice Garrett, BB&T - Objective: To promote and represent the Chamber throughout the community, educate Chamber members regarding the programs and benefits associated with membership and assist in increasing general membership.
Christmas Parade – TBA - Objective: To coordinate a professional Christmas Parade.
Black Tie Affair – Scott Kauffman, Klaussner Home Furnishings - Objective: To plan and conduct the Chamber’s Annual Black Tie Affair Formal Dinner & Dance in February to raise money for the Student Leadership Information For Tomorrow program.
Scavenger Hunt – Shawn Poe, Randolph Vocational Rehabilitation – Objective: To plan and coordinate an Annual Chamber Scavenger Hunt that focuses on getting participants in the doors of local businesses.
Community Development - Division VP – Kurt Sullivan, The Timken Company
Business & Education – James Gouty, BB&T - Objective: To work with both the business and educational community to establish common goals and objectives that will strengthen the relationship, improve the student and enhance the overall quality of life for all Randolph County citizens. Current programs include Teacher Recruitment, Teacher Internships and the Get A LIFE – Learning Is For Earning program.
Leadership Randolph – Aimee Scotton, Randolph County - Objective: To develop, plan, coordinate and produce a quality leadership development program that assists individuals in their ongoing development and produces future leaders of our community.
Student L.I.F.T. – Allen McNeill, Randolph County Sheriff’s Dept. - Objective: To conduct a quality youth oriented leadership program that will assist sophomore and junior high school students expand their knowledge of their community and county, as well as develop their leadership skills.
Downtown Development – Steve Cofer, Architect & Reynolds Lisk, Insurance Assoc. of the Triad - Objective: To plan and coordinate an ongoing program promoting the continued development of the downtown Asheboro business community.
Special Events – Dave Whitaker, Personalized Products & Promotions - Objective: To coordinate and promote the educational fundraising events that raise money for our education programs. The events include an Annual Golf Tournament on the last Monday of June and an Annual Bowl-A-Thon on the last Saturday in February. These events raise money for the Student LIFT, Get A LIFE-Learning Is For Earning, Teacher Internships and New Teacher Recruitment efforts of the Chamber.
Business & Industry - Division VP – Kim Markham, Asheboro Recycling Center
Marketing/Technology – Scott Smith, Able Sign Co. - Objective: To continually improve the Chamber’s website and educate members about new technology.
Business Showcase – Brett Queen, Chandler Concrete- Objective: Plan, Organize and Produce the Chamber's Annual Business Showcase set for the 2nd Thursday in October.
Seminars & Workshops – Malynda Shumaker, Asheboro Recycling Center- Objective: To coordinate a current year calendar of seminars and workshops, which responds to the needs of the chamber membership.
Business Roundtable – Phil Brown & Hooker Thomas, Asheboro SCORE – Objective: Provide an outlet for small business owners to gain knowledge on how to deal with certain issues from other business owners.
Governmental Affair - Division VP – John Ogburn, City of Asheboro
Government – Robert Graves, RCC - Objective: Provide representation for business at the local, state and federal level of government. Provide a liaison between local businesses and local, state and federal government.
Luncheon Lecture Series - John Ogburn - Objective: To coordinate quarterly seminars, which inform members and citizens on timely topics and/or issues.
Bikeways & Trails – Dave Fowler, CommunityOne Bank - Objective: To identify and develop bikeways, trails and scenic routes suitable for citizens and visitors to tour and appreciate the scenic beauty and heritage sites of Randolph County.
