schoolbus.jpg Randolph County is served by two public school systems, Asheboro City Schools and Randolph County Schools. 

The Asheboro City Schools consists of five elementary schools containing grades kindergarten through grade five, two middle schools with grades six through eight, and one high school with grades nine through twelve.  The Asheboro City Schools administrative office is located at 1126 South Park Street, Asheboro, and their telephone number is (336) 625-5104.

The Randolph County Schools consist of 31 public schools, which serve students in grades K-12.  The county schools administrative office is located at the McDowell Center, 2222 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, and the telephone is number is (336) 318-6100.

Both the Asheboro City Schools and the Randolph County Schools are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Specialized training in technical job skills is provided by Randolph Community College (RCC), a member institution of North Carolina's highly regarded community college system.  RCC offers vocational and technical programs including a College Transfer program for students wishing to complete the freshman and sophomore year of a baccalaureate degree locally.  RCC also offers a comprehensive continuing education program which ranges from basic skills classes to customized training for business and industry.
