Cruise In

They’re coming back to Downtown Asheboro for 2012!  Beginning on Saturday, May 26 and continuing on the fourth Saturday of each month from 12:30 pm until 7:30 pm through October 27 Downtown Asheboro will again come alive with the roar of classic automobiles from all over the southeast.  Sunset Avenue will again be turned into a one way street (West to East) allowing the classic cars to park along the street and cruise the block and Master of Ceremonies, Benny Huff will also be back to provide commentary and play by play with descriptions of the various cars and where they come from.  Also, as a special treat for the first 2012 Downtown Asheboro Cruise In, “Frankie and the Drips” will be on the stage in Bicentennial Park from 5:30 until 7:30 pm providing music and entertainment for your enjoyment.  In addition, there will be a 50/50 drawing as well as several other drawings for different items including a spectacular Gold Dinner Ring and many of the downtown shops will be offering Cruise In Specials, so plan to come out and bring the whole family and all your friends to join in this great fun event.  For more information visit the following websites:
